Boats departing from Keszthely harbor offer various services and programs for guests. You can admire Lake Balaton and its shoreline attractions from the water. Most Balaton lakeside towns are accessible by boat.
The Romans discovered and used the Hévíz lake. The Roman Ruins at the end of Attila Street were fully renovated in 2011. Remains of an early Roman villa were found here in 1931, and between 2001 and 2003, the Villa Rustica building was excavated nearby.
The promenade surrounding the thermal lake is part of the park. Starting from the Covered Bath building at the end of the pedestrian street, the Dr. Schulhof Vilmos Promenade leads to the main entrance of the thermal lake. One side of the promenade is shaded by plane trees and lined with benches, offering views of the Hévíz lake, while the other side showcases the historical buildings of the St. Andrew Rheumatology Hospital.
These buildings were constructed in the 1870s and were remodeled in the early 1900s to the two-story houses visible today.

In Hévíz, Rákóczi Street functions as a pedestrian street along its entire length. It connects Széchenyi Street with the Dr. Schulhof Vilmos Promenade. At the beginning of the street, boutiques, cafes, and ice cream parlors welcome strollers while showcasing villas built in the 1920s.
The Roman soldier's tomb, also known as the late Roman brick tomb, is located in the Egregy district of Hévíz. Constructed of brick and quicklime, the tomb was found intact during earthworks in 1925.
The city of Hévíz is home to several unique churches.
Continuously constructed and expanded from the mid-18th century, this palace was owned by the Festetics family for 200 years. After several renovations, it achieved its current form between 1883 and 1887. It is one of Keszthely's most prominent historical monuments.
